Testing

For reimbursement limits, please refer to the “Benefits Table (Catastrophic)”.

This scheme shall cover eligible medical expenses for the following diseases or conditions:
a) Admission into intensive care unit
b) All ultra-major operations as defined in the Government Gazette
c) All cancers (malignancies) excluding carcinoma-in-situ, and all brain tumours
d) Diseases involving acute and/or chronic failure of the heart, lung, kidney and liver
e) All organ transplants, including but not limited to heart, lung, liver, kidney, bone marrow and cornea
f) The following diseases:
(i) Meningitis and encephalitis, Creutsfeldt-Jacob Disease (CJD)
(ii) Major head trauma
(iii) Stroke resulting in neurological deficit with corresponding findings in a CT or MRI scan
(iv) Multiple sclerosis
(v) Motor neuron disease, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, poliomyelitis, myasthenia gravis of Grade III or above
under the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America Clinical Classification
(vi) Diseases resulting in limb paralysis or blindness
(vii) Major burns
(viii) Aplastic anemia
(ix) Acute necrotic pancreatitis
(x) Necrotising fasciitis
(xi) HIV infection or AIDS due to blood transfusion or occupation
